The excavation of the remains of Chashi (the ruins of a fort and a place of ritual, which means “fence” in Ainu language) found in Biratori Town and the excavated relics are exhibited. The diorama that reproduces the present and the past, the Nibutani ruins, and other collections are on display.
You can enjoy learning about the nature of the Saru River and its relationships with people, and you can see the seasonal scenery of Nibutani from the observatory gallery.
