Driving toward Kamikawa on National Route 39 from Rubeshibe, near the Sekihoku Pass, there is a wetland of the Itomuka River, a tributary of the Tokoro River system’s Muka River, where a large colony of mizubasho is spreading.
I took the photos on May 6 last year, but the full bloom maybe earlier this year.
