The Shari River runs through Kiyosato Town in the Okhotsk District. From July to August, many cherry salmon run up the river to spawn. A 3-meter-high waterfall stands in the way of the cherry salmon.
I watched them for about four hours in the morning and afternoon, but only three or four of them made it upstream.
