[Capturing the Rivers of Hokkaido!]
The Teshio River Boiling at Minus 27 Degrees Celsius

The Teshio River flows northward through northern Hokkaido. Due to the cold wave this year, the river has frozen over in most places and has turned into a snowfield, but near Nayoro, it is smooth-flowing.
It was minus 27 degrees Celsius when I arrived at Tokei Bridge. As the sun rose and the ice began to turn red, the scenery changed completely. The Teshio River looked as if it was boiling.
(I took photos on January 24 and 26, 2021)
