A food market where restaurants in Ikeda Town, Tokachi farmers, and mobile sales vehicles gather in Tokachi Ikedaya Market started in 2019 when the Chiyoda Dam Park was constructed. Toilets, benches, and cycle racks were installed in the park this year, transforming it into a more comfortable space! The event was powered up combined with traditional Ainu dance. It was valuable to experience Ainu culture in a place overlooking the Tokachi River.
Also, thanks to the organizer setting the table on the bridge leading to “TOTO-ROAD（fishway observation facility）, we were able to enjoy the meal in a large space without worrying about the coronavirus.
