The other day,I headed to Takino Suzuran Hillside Park to see the icefalls of Asilibetsu Falls (one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan) and Masumi Falls, the largest waterfalls in Sapporo, but… alas… Asilibetsu Falls is closed until the end of March and Masumi Falls is closed until the end of January due to construction.
The photos were taken some time ago, and the Ashiribetsu Falls are powerful, looking like a monster with countless fangs, while the Masumi Falls are accessible directly below, so you can get a good look at the icing.
