On January 23, 2022, people from tourism businesses and related organizations in the Jozankei area gathered at Jozankei Dam (Sapporo Lake) in Minami Ward, Sapporo City, to cut out a circle 15 meters in diameter in the frozen Sapporo Lake and conduct a demonstration experiment of an ice carousel.The participants enjoyed the great nature by lying down on the slowly turning ice.
A cute Shiba dog also jumped in to join in.It was a strange experience, as if the dog was moving even though it was not moving.
