[Capturing the Rivers of Hokkaido!]
Nagayama Shinkawa River is a paradise for migratory birds

The Nagayama Shinkawa River was newly excavated to prevent damage to Asahikawa city downstream from flooding in the Ushubetsu River. The stream is usually calm and many migratory birds rest there in spring and fall.
This place has become a recreational spot for Asahikawa citizens to observe waterfowl.
