On May 26, 2022, I visited the Chiebun area of Nayoro City.
Here, the Teshio River left behind the Chiebun Marsh, which is popular with anglers and citizens taking a stroll.
I arrived before dawn. The temperature was below 10 degrees Celsius. The morning haze on the swamp made for a fantastic sight.
As the sun rose, the temperature rose to over 20 degrees Celsius.
The hills along the left bank of the Teshio River were filled with the fragrance of spring as rape blossoms bloomed.
The sun rose and the morning mist changed color.
Spring field work begins with soil preparation.
A view of a field of fragrant rape blossoms in a hilly area.
Teshio River Canoe Touring Competition to be held on July 17, 2022, for the first time in three years.
