The “Spring Sending in Nakagawa” is an annual ice melting quiz held in Nakagawa Town.The quiz is to guess the date and time when the sign trees set up on the iced over Teshio River were washed away. The tree marker was washed away at 16:43 on March 13.
This year, I was happy to see that the thick ice on both banks of the Teshio River started to flow out all at once in the morning of the next day, and I was able to see the Teshio River in great melting ice for the first time in a long time
