On May 25, I went to Takinoue Town, the town of the Shokotsu River and mossy lawn cherry blossoms with its dazzling new greenery.
I was able to enjoy the mossy lawn cherry blossoms, which I had thought would be finished by now.
Takinoue Town is currently Japan’s largest producer of pepper, and a large pepper kettle used in the 1940s is on display at the local museum.
