In the center of Asahikawa, a city of 300,000 people, the Kawamachi Fest was held in the Kitasaito neighborhood in front of Asahikawa Station.
Visitors enjoyed canoeing and SUP yoga at Kagami Pond, and kitchen cars and other vendors set up store at the south entrance square of the station where the Chubetsu River flows, enjoying the early summer waterside to their heart’s content.
