Looking downstream from the Tokoro Bridge on National Route 238, a small hill can be seen on the right-hand side.On the hill, the nationally designated historic site known as the Tokoro Ruins (Tokoro Chashi Site Complex) has been developed, preserving remains from various periods, including reconstructed dwellings of the Okhotsk culture and Ainu chashi sites.
