Although mornings and evenings have become much cooler since September began, the days are still warm enough to work up a sweat.With that in mind, I went in search of some coolness to see Ashiribetsu Falls—one of Japan’s Top 100 Waterfalls—and Masumi Falls, a graceful, feminine cascade that seems to slide down a single slab of rock.
