On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, a river cleanup was conducted along the Wattsu River under the organization of Kitahiroshima City. With the cooperation of approximately 200 participants, including staff from Kitahiroshima City and the Chitose River Office, a total of 30 kg of trash was collected.
