On Saturday, August 2, the Ikushunbetsu River Dam Construction Office held a site tour and opinion exchange meeting for Shin-Katsurazawa Dam, which was completed in March 2024, and the Mikasa-Ponbetsu Dam, which is currently under construction.

Participants had the opportunity to tour areas inside the dams that are not usually open to the public and to exchange views with staff members, helping to deepen their understanding of the project.
