“Sai Rin Ka,” a winter tradition at Tokachi River Onsen, marks its 35th year. This festival is held in honor of the swans that fly to Tokachi River Onsen every year. The most impressive feature of this festival is over 300 illuminated objects that captivate visitors with various performances synchronized to music. The venue also features an Ice Promenade where visitors can enjoy warm food and beverages, including original menu items. From the hot spring town to the venue, a corridor of lights called “Light Alley” is created, with a symbolic “Winter Cherry Blossom” tree welcoming visitors. The recommended way to enjoy the festival is to take the route from Michi-no-Eki Garden Spa Tokachigawa Onsen through the “Light Alley” to “Sai Rin Ka.” Come to Tokachi River Onsen to enjoy this winter-only event where the silver earth sparkles with light.
