While canoeing and boating down the section of the nature restoration project in the Kayanuma district, where the straightened Kushiro River has been restored to its original meandering river, the participants participated in an environmental survey of the restored area.
In the Hororo area, we observed a wetland restoration project in the river area along the Hororo River, which was once developed as agricultural land and is currently not used.
Tours are usually held around July and August in the former river restoration area, and around September and October in the Hororo Marshland Restoration Area.
