Lake Shikaribetsu, known as the highest-altitude natural lake in Hokkaido, hosts a small village called “Kotan” built entirely from snow and ice on the frozen lake surface from January 25 to March 16.Rows of igloos standing on the vast white snowfield of the frozen lake create a mysterious and fantastical landscape, almost like a scene from another planet.Near the entrance is an ICE BAR, where visitors can enjoy drinks served in glasses made of ice.Cute original goods are also available, making the village a perfect place for fun experiences and lasting memories.
