On September 7, Ebetsu Kawamachi Festival 2025 was held as a pilot project aimed at realizing Ebetsu City’s Kawamachi (riverfront revitalization) plan.
Set along the river and town where the city of Ebetsu originated, the festival’s concept was “Enjoy the great nature in the heart of the city in your own way.”
Visitors also enjoyed boarding the survey vessel Benten-maru, making the most of the river experience.
