[Capturing the Rivers of Hokkaido!]
Teshio River and Mt. Rishiri

The Teshio River originates on the summit of Mt. Teshiodake, the main peak of Kitami Mountains situated right in the center of Hokkaido, and continues north for about 256 kilometers, where it meets the Sea of Japan in the town of Teshio.
Downstream, near Horonobe and Teshio, the grand Teshio River and graceful Mt. Rishiri weave together a remarkable physiognomy, which alters from season to season.
