Departing from Sapporo, and traveling over Nakayama Pass, you enter Kimobetsu where the majestic Mt. Yotei, known also as the Ezo Fuji, and Shiribetsu River come into view. This beautifully shaped mountain can be seen from the towns of Kyogoku, Kutchan, Niseko and Rankoshi, which are all situated along the Shiribetsu River; but in truth, perhaps it is us who are being watched by Mt. Yotei.
