Takisato Dam

The Takisato Dam constructed in the middle reaches of the Sorachi River (between Furano and Ashibetsu cities), downstream of the Kanayama Dam, was completed in 1999. The dam lake is known as Lake Takisato. There is an auto-camping site complete with a lakeside beach where visitors can play in the water, a multipurpose square for various sports and recreation activities, cottages and other facilities. It is easily accessible from the famous tourist spot Furano.
