“The cold water and 16 waterfalls of Niupu” are located in the upper reaches of the Penkeniupu River in Bifuka Town and were recognized as one of the Heisei-no-Hyakumeisui (100 Exquisite and Well-Conserved Waters of the Heisei Period) by the Ministry of the Environment in 2008.
