At the Saru River’s mouth, which flows into the Pacific Ocean, in Tomikawa, Hidaka Town, the river froze over due to the cold wave a few days ago.
On the sandy beach where the sea and the river meet, a lot of broken ice was piled up and glittered in the morning sun.

The scenery changes from moment to moment as the broken ice are illuminated by the morning sun
