The “Hokkaido Stone” is just a stone in its normal state, but when exposed to ultraviolet light, it emits a yellowish light.
It is displayed at the Tokachi-Shikaoi Geopark Center in Shikaoi Town, Tokachi Province, where many people came to observe it.
You can also observe the Miyabe char, which has evolved uniquely in Lake Shikaribetsu.
