This is the Salmon Information Center. To experience the release of salmon fry, enter the Experience Building on the right.

Inside the experience building, there are tanks for salmon eggs, fry, and grown-up salmon, and you can try feeding them.

When you finish the tour and come to the exit, you will find a cup for the release experience. Take one and go outside.

Once outside, you will see a facility for experiencing the release of the fry.

This is a tank containing salmon fry for release. There is a lid, so open it.

Inside the tank, there are many fry swimming around. You are limited to 10 fry per person.

The salmon fry were surprisingly large and very energetic, so I had a hard time getting them into the cups. In the meantime, one of them jumped out of the cup.

The fry were discharged from the cup into the waterway.

Here is the outlet and the Chitose River. Three years later, they will grow up and come back.
