This legendary canoeing event—one of the largest in Japan—takes participants down the Teshio River, a Hokkaido Heritage site.

Now in its 33rd year, this year’s two-day, one-night course covers 59 km, starting in Nayoro City, passing through Bifuka Town, and ending in Otoineppu Village.
