To help visitors understand the role and inner workings of dams, we are offering tours of the Nibutani Dam and Biratori Dam, located on the Saru River in Biratori Town, Hokkaido.

During this tour, you’ll be able to visit areas normally off-limits to the public, such as the inspection galleries used to check the dam’s interior. Advance reservations are required to participate in the dam tour. (Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.)

Participants will receive a dam card and a paper craft model of the dam!
Even if you don’t participate in the dam tour, you can still visit the panel exhibition and try your hand at driftwood crafts. You’ll also receive a dam card.
