On the day of the event, in addition to salt-grilled ayu (available in limited quantities), we have planned a variety of activities centered around the clear stream, including ayu fishing, gold panning, and an educational corner about the Shiribeshitoshibetsu River.
In addition to local specialty sales, food trucks, food and drink vendors, and a performance by the Kariba Taiko drum group will help create a festive atmosphere, culminating in a mochi toss at the finale. You might even find a winning ticket for a bath pass at Kua Plaza Pirika hidden inside one of the mochi!
