We are hosting a tour of the Jozankei Dam and Otarunai Power Plant, located upstream on the Toyohira River in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

This is a rare opportunity to tour the interior of the dam and power plant—areas not normally open to the public—so please be sure to join us.

◎ Location： Jozankei Dam Management Branch Office and Otaruuchi Power Plant

◆Advance registration via： email is required.
◆Application Period： Wednesday, July 15
* If there are more applicants than available spots, participants will be selected by lottery.
◆Participants must be： elementary school students or older (elementary and junior high school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

The event may be canceled in the event of severe weather, such as heavy rain or typhoons, or if there are reports of bear sightings in the area surrounding the dam.
