The “Kushiro Tairyo Donpaku” is held under the theme “Bounty of the Land, Bounty of the Sea, Bounty of the Sky.”

The festival is named “Donpaku” after the “don” sound of fireworks going off and the joy of “paku” (gobbling up) delicious food.

Fireworks with a diameter of 35 inches—the largest in Hokkaido—will be launched.
