The gorge of the Shokotsu River that flows through Takinoue Town in the Okhotsk Region is called Kinsenkyo. And although the river runs through the town, you can see waterfalls and beautiful gorges.
From the parking lot near Niji-no-Hashi Bridge upstream, a two-kilometer-long woodchip promenade is laid out on both sides of the river, where visitors can take a stroll from early to mid-October while viewing the autumn leaves.
