This is the birthplace of the village name Shirataki, a nationally famous railroad photography spot. The view from this spot of the Sekihoku Main Line and the meandering Yubetsu River harmonizes beautifully with the surrounding scenery throughout the four seasons. The fresh green of spring, autumn leaves, snow in winter, and the morning, noon, and night, there is a scene here that you will never get tired of no matter how many times you visit.
(The winter photo was taken on November 9, 2020, and the other images are from my collection.)
