This year Sapporo has been hit hard by heavy snowfall, and there is a lot of snow on the banks of the Toyohira River, which runs through the city.
I had a hard time even going near the river to take pictures.
Still, there are many footprints on the snow… walking skis, snowshoe tracks, fox tracks, etc… Everyone is in good spirits.
