For three days in July, kitchen cars gathered on the riverbed downstream from the Horohira Bridge.
A Pokémon GO festival was being held in nearby Nakajima Park and many people were visiting at lunchtime.
The area was also crowded with Toyohira River walkers and cyclists who stopped by for a rest.
