During the blooming season of the Chishima cherry trees along the Shojingawa River, the Cold Region Public Works Research Institute in Hiragishi, Toyohira Ward, Sapporo opens its grounds to the public and attracts many visitors every year.I visited on April 25, some trees were in bloom, but many were still in bud, giving the impression that full bloom was still two or three days away.
The grounds are open to the public from April 23 to 30. (The photos were taken in 2021.)
