Once boasting vast wetlands along the Yubari River, the area has now diminished and is gradually disappearing.Recently, people interested in restoring the Horomui Wetlands participated in activities such as transplanting wetland plants under the motto, “Carpet of Sphagnum moss…”.
Participants were also treated to light refreshments, including hot dogs made with willow sausages and soup made from Nanporo white corn.
