Sato Farm’s canola flower fields, selected as one of the “100 Scenic Views of Otofuke Town,” provided the setting for the Canola Flower Café, which celebrated its 10th year this year. Food trucks lined the center of the fields surrounded by bright yellow blossoms, while handmade, homey attractions such as photo spots with hay bales and swings created a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Although the fields are usually closed to the public, for just two days special walking paths were created through the canola flowers for this event. Families and other visitors enjoyed taking photos along the paths. Another welcome feature is that pets are allowed to accompany visitors.
