I headed out early in the morning to the Iwaboki Sluice Gate and the Hosooka Observation Deck in Kushiro Town to get a view of the Kushiro Marsh.
The weather was clear and the air crisp, so I could see Mount Meakan erupting smoke beyond the marsh.
