The Furano Heso Marathon is a running event held in conjunction with the “Hokkai Heso Festival,” a community-organized festival in Furano City, Hokkaido.

Participants can enjoy the natural beauty along the banks of the Sorachi River while taking in sweeping panoramic views of the Tokachi-dake mountain range and Mt. Ashibetsu.

◆Venue： Sorachi Riverbank Course
◆Courses：The event features a 3km Nordic walking course, as well as 2km, 3km, 5km, and 10km marathon courses.
◆Registration：Until Sunday, May 31, 2026

※ Nordic Walking： A sport where participants walk at their own pace using specialized poles. As it is an aerobic exercise that allows you to adjust the intensity, it is enjoyable for seniors as well.
