Abashiri’s signature summer festival, the “Abashiri Okhotsk Summer Festival,” will be held over three days. Starting with the pre-festival “Summer Beer Festival,” the event will feature the “Drifting Ice Dance,” the “Abashiri Drifting Ice Dance Extravaganza,” and a “Musical Parade” performed by student brass bands. Food stalls and food trucks offering local delicacies will also be on hand.

On the final day, a “Fireworks Display” will light up the night sky over the Sea of Okhotsk with 12,000 fireworks.
